Why Vessel
Playing a modded Windows game on Linux should not mean a weekend of prefixes, launch flags and forum threads.
Proton made Windows games run on Linux. The hard part is everything around them that Windows players take for granted: the mod manager that has to see the same files, the script extender that has to start the game, the trainer that has to find its process.
Vessel is a general launcher for all of it. Each game gets one room: its own sandbox, its own Proton or Wine prefix, shared by every companion app you add. You choose what starts the game and what opens with it, and one press starts them together.
It copies nothing and changes nothing when it finds your games, keeps your saves where they are, and says plainly what has been tested and what has not. Today that is Skyrim Special Edition with Mod Organizer 2, SKSE and a trainer.
